The issue that needs fixing here is two-fold:

- Data (especially distance for some reason) is hot-spotted both by the
OSG pick method and the PLIB 2.5d panel hack, this causes it to be very
sensitive for me.

- Distance only goes in increments of 1 mile/10 miles. Should probably
be 0.1 mile/10 miles.

If you really want a distance of "0" just use the VOR/PAR function
instead of the RNAV function.

As far as waypoints 2&3, they are indeed set to waypoints in my favorite
scenery. Waypoint 2 is the north end of runway 14 at KHIF, waypoint 3
is some radio towers on the other side of the VORTAC
(http://www.airnav.com/cgi-bin/navaid-info?id=OGD&type=VORTAC&name=OGDEN)

I would really like the waypoints to be persistant across sessions, but
haven't looked into making that happen yet.

I'm pondering a simple tutorial for RNAV that will go something like
this:

Start at KSFO, default runway.
Set Waypoint 1 to OAKr076/37.2 OAKLAND VORTAC 116.80
Set Waypoint 2 to ECAr252/21.5 MANTECA VORTAC 116.00

Enable RNAV waypoint 1
Set RNAV/ENR
Set your HSI to 70 degrees.
Take off, intercept radial and fly to waypoint 1 on the 70 radial
Change to waypoint 2
Set HSI to 300 degrees and follow that to waypoint 2
About 5 miles out change to RNAV/APR.
Time your decent to be at 500 feet at 1 mile and you should make a
landing at C83 (Byron Airport) runway 30.
