Using fgrun gives FPS in the range of 1-2 frames for Blackbird-A. Using the terminal gives normal FPS in the rage of 50 to 85. The main problem seems to occur at the loading scenery splash screen. Setting log output to info we can see some differences between cmd and fgrun. Examine the log at the loading scenry part. If anyone would like like a copy of the fgrun, cmd log let me know and I'll send them to you, 20KB apiece. Ubuntu 7.10, Nvidia 6600GT. Using latest sources for FlightGear/SimGear/Fgrun/OSG.
