As of v1.9.0 and newer you can define multiple windows/views for a single
instance of FlightGear.  I've done this on Linux and it works well.  I don't
know if it works equally well on windows and mac?  I assume so, but I don't
know.

This allows you to define a unique perspective for each monitor, but all for
the same view.  I don't know if i'ts possible to draw a cockpit view in one
window and an external view in another window?
