The FlightGear mailing lists require that you post from a legitimate
subscribed address and because of the problem with spam, I believe they have
mechanisms to try to sniff out trickery. So it's probably not possible to
do what you want. If you'd like to get away from outlook, there are
numerous free mail services (like google mail for one example) that are
pretty good.
