Hello,
I am currently working on a FlightGear program that utilizes socket
communications. Arya Basu worked on this project previously and also asked
this question, but did not receive a response that could solve our issue.
Attached is the original conversation.
Since we are not using the telnet interface, is it possible to send a
communication over our existing socket connection to request that the client
freeze outside of telnet?

Via the "telnet" interface you can set "/sim/freeze/master" to true or false
in order to pause the sim.
