Hi Hal, Ron and others,
Thanks a lot for the hints : they both worked perfectly well !
This is really the difference between Open Source and Commercial
software : the problem is fixed in less than a day after it was
reported !! Great job, Ron and Hal !
The change in sign for "z" in yawstring indeed fixed the faulty
slipindicator immediately and with the following settings for the
airbrakes I have a rather realistic behaviour :
<spoiler start="0.24" end="0.38" lift="-2.5" drag="8"/>
Although I have never flown a bocian in reall life, I have flown both
K7, K8 and K21 and I think the behaviour is now somewhat the same as
the quite effective "garagedoors" on the K7 glider ;-)
The bocian is now imo the most realistic glider in FlightGear,
although the ASK21 is also quite nice. Anyone who knows how to get a
slipindicator in the ASK21 as well ? That would make a huge
improvement !
regards,
Kees
