Hi all, As has been mentioned on this list before, Google has funded a Summer of Code Project for a refactor of floatcanvas. The student is Matthias Kesternich, who will be doing most of the work, and I"ll be mentoring him.
In addition, I hope to involve this list in the technical discussion, and most important, the features discussion. Please read as much as you have time for, and comment as you see fit. A few general questions: Are there any big features you want to see supported? How important is backward compatibility? -- It looks like there may be major changes.
