Hi Matthias It seems that visible grouped objects when saved in FloatCanvas2 appear as not visible after loading them (the fcsf file).
I verified that in your examples and the same behavior happens. By the way, in your example Groups.py if I save and load the objects of this example, the application crashes (but this same example can load other fcsf files suggesting there is something with groups and saving/loading).
