I am working with FloatCanvas, I am adding FloatCanvas.Rectangle to a

that specific shape is then redrawn as selected.

question: "Is
there a way to select a shape by just mouse left click
I'm not sure what you mean by "select", but you can bind any of the
mouse events to an object, so you can call any funciton you want when
an object is clicked on -- the callback function gets a reference to
the object clicked, so you can know what it is.
See the Demo, or even better, the collection of small demos in the
source, for examples.

and so that i can
proceed by redrawing shape as fit with codition.
