I actually do drop them on a five minute interval during live collection, but my nightly processing compresses and consolidates them into "24-hour" files for long term archiving. One solution to the problem would be to preserve the files in the five-minute format and not consolidate them all together. I'm willing to do this, if there isn't a workaround for my current problem, but I've written alot of scripts around processing the files from the 24-hour consolidated archive files, so if I can avoid rewriting things by simply modifying a memory parm then I'd prefer to do that.
