When filtering was introduced to flow-fanout sequence number preservation could not be maintained.

Try without -s. I think there is a byte ordering problem with source address spoofing on some platforms.

Mr. Fullmer,

Sorry for directly contacting you. My message to the flow-tools alias got rejected and the one going to the flow-tools-owner got no response yet. I know this is not the best time to get a timely answer ;-)

I am playing with the latest version 0.67 on Linux RH 7.1. Two quick questions:

1) When I do a

flow-fanout -S1 -s 0/0/9999 0/10.1.1.1/9995

should the program keep the squence number from the exporting device or replace it with a new number (issued by the program)?

2) When I tried replicating to multiple destinations no forwarding seems to happen. What'd be wrong?

flow-fanout -S1 -s 0/0/9999 0/10.1.1.1/9995 0/10.1.1.2/9995

Thanks! Happy July 4th,
feng
