I'm curious as to peoples best practices in creating PNG files. I like what CUGrapher can give me, but I don't allow access to my collector (for various reasons). What I'd like to do is create PNG files and output them to a less secure server where I can then display the PNG's in a web page.
I don't see a way of creating the PNG's with CUGrapher. Is there some exporting option for CUGrapher that I'm missing?
Since I'm using CUFlow, It looks like my options are to use RRDtool and cron a job to keep refreshing the PNG's. Would I be better off using cflowd and going back to the CampusIO or SubnetIO creations, and then using the graph.mf file to create PNG's?
I would like to hear how other people display their data. I'm sure others would too.
