Yes, the Netflow "protocol" does not require that. The only thing that needs to be taken care of is the rate of ICMP port unreach messages sent by Netflow collector in case the flow-capture process going down (e.g. segfault, out of memory etc.) - if the number of Netflow packets per second received by the collector is high, it can result of big number of ICMP unreach messages sent to the originators (routers) if the flow-capture process terminates which may pose a problem. v. _______________________________________________ Flow-tools mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://mailman.splintered.net/mailman/listinfo/flow-tools
