Unless I am terribly mistaken, flow-tools can only operate on UNIX-like
systems. Since Windows != UNIX (yet), you cannot install it on Windows :))

for your favorite Linux distro:
1. get RPM package (either binary or source) from
http://cng.ateneo.net/cng/wyu/software/flow-tools.php
2. rpm -i <flow-tools-package.rpm>
for FreeBSD:
1. get ports system (e.g. via cvsup)
2. cd /usr/ports/net-mgmt/flow-tools && make install
(or install via binary pkg)
for any other UNIX-like system:
1. get flow-tools source code from
http://www.splintered.net/sw/flow-tools/
2. tar xfz flow-tools-0.68.tar.gz
3. cd flow-tools-0.68 && ./configure && make && make install
