Hello!
I apologize in advance for what might be a newb question. If you could respond to me direct (and not to the list), I would be glad to post a synopsis of the answer to my question once I get it. googling as not disclosed the answer!
Ok.
I have 4 routers supplying netflow data to my netflow collector running flow-collector. Based on my reading I have something like this:
networker3:/var/netflow/bin # cat start-flow-capture
/usr/local/netflow/bin/flow-capture -z0 -N3 -V5 -E3G -n287 -w/var/netflow/flows/gr-wan /10.1.2.1/9991 -R /usr/local/netflow/bin/link-gr-wan /usr/local/netflow/bin/flow-capture -z0 -N3 -V5 -E3G -n287 -w/var/netflow/flows/db-wan /10.200.2.118/9992 -R /usr/local/netflow/bin/link-db-wan /usr/local/netflow/bin/flow-capture -z0 -N3 -V5 -E3G -n287 -w/var/netflow/flows/wgw /66.202.192.1/9993 -R /usr/local/netflow/bin/link-wgw /usr/local/netflow/bin/flow-capture -z0 -N3 -V5 -E3G -n287 -w/var/netflow/flows/egw /66.202.224.1/9994 -R /usr/local/netflow/bin/link-egw networker3:/var/netflow/bin # The link-router commands above simply link the most recent flow-capture to a batch directory for processing by flow tools. This is pretty much what occurs in rgalloway's tutorial on this subject at
I have flowscan scanning the inbound symlinks, as he does, but there are 4 of them for the 4 routers.
I don't seem to be getting the correct data, however, into my flowscan/cuflow charts.
What gives? I think the problem is lack of understanding on my part...
Anyone have cuflow operating for multiple routers? How do you move flow data through flowscan and cuflow?
Thanks! If you reply off-list, I'd be happy to reply to the list with my findings....
