So this invalidates tracking down top destination countries mapped to AS..
I guess I will have to use the destination IP address instead.

What do you mean 'invalidates tracking top destination countries by AS'? You're not getting there by AS - you're getting there by IGP or static route. How would you track AS on an IGP route? On a static route?
