Hi,

I am trying to install Flow-tools on a SUSE 10.1 machine for an MSc project
involving network monitoring tools. I have seen that there are problems
compiling Flow-tools with GCC 4 and that a patch helps this. However I am
still relatively new to Linux and am facing a few hurdles trying to install
flow-tools.

I created flowpatch.patch in the flow-tools directory and ran

"patch -p0 < flowpatch.patch"

But I received the following error:

patching file ./lib/ftchash.c

patch: **** malformed patch at line 6:
(char*)ftch->traverse_chunk->base+ftch->traverse_chunk->next) {

Any help on this matter would be greatly appreciated.

Many thanks
