I have flow-tools installed on a sun sparc server collecting flows from a number of routers. I would like to know some information regarding flow-tools: 1. What is flow-tools's limitation regarding, the maximum number of flows per sec on a (A)Gig interface (B) 100Meg Interface? 2. Will I be able to replicate subsets of flow data to different flow collectors eg netscout collectors reqiring specific flow data from a smaller set of devices?
For example- I am aggregating flows from 4 routers, 2 are Core routers and 2 are Distribution routers, Can I send all flows to a generic collector and then, from the generic collector,use flow-fan to send only flows recieved from my Core routers to a netscout collector and all other flows to another flow reciever?
