Fixed in Subversion repository. Ok thanks Ian, this is making me a bit nervous and worried though, to see how the way we seem to treat labels and especially their expansion differs from one platform to another but this another problem ... Anyway, closing this STR as the fixes have the merit to solve all problems (that needs code change) mentioned at least in 2080. Please feel free to open a new STR for others specific UTF8 problems.
