[STR New] Link: http://www.fltk.org/str.php?L2122 Version: 1.3-current I believe this happen to all fonts, just comment in your code the font spec (to get the default one) and set the size of this font to 9 . Then compare to the output of the terminal window (if u did not customized it) ... It seems this is a side effect of the antialising, maybe it could be interesting being bale to disable it ? I did not dive in this part of the code yet though so I'm not sure it's what really happens.
