FTR: This is probably not a new (FLTK 1.3) problem, I just tried it on Windows with both FLTK 1.1 and 1.3, and both showed black rectangles instead of the GUI images, but didn't crash. (We didn't change fluid yet to use the new printing features, AFAICT...)
