I have the same issue as in this already closed STR: #2805: png_set_longjmp_fn not found inmac lion (xcode 4)
The difference is, I am using NetBSD and the current 1.3.x r9382. So, the issue is not fixed by switching to the current libpng 1.5.10 and the error is not platform dependent.
