As a possible workaround, can I suggest making the child widget an Fl_Group, and position the Fl_Input within that, having the label reside within the xwyh of the group. The group can probably be FL_NO_BOX to 'see through' to the item's bg color. Meanwhile, I believe this can be supported; if it can, I'll update svn.
