Hi. I had already opened a bug http://www.fltk.org/str.php?L2189 And it is really unrelated to disscussed one. I added some comments there. And anyway if that call can crash earlier versions of xorg-x11 it would happend already, because there ARE another places in fltk sources with that call which was added after the initially disscussed comment.
