I remember that we fixed it (I do remember complaining about it  
though!) but don't have any recollection of what was done, or by whom.
I don't think it was me - was probably Albrecht I think and/or maybe  
Fabien?

Will do, but note that I do not have access to a Mac running 10.6,  
which does bring its own unique set of issues, so someone else will  
have to try that.
Also my linux boxes are now all ubuntu, and the oldest I have is 8.04  
(which is the current LTS release) so I can't test the older linux  
variants - I used to have some FC5 and FC7 boxes too, but they are  
gone now.

OK, but I still think it would be cool if we could get to 1.1.11   ;-)

(IIRC, the 1.0 series stopped at 1.0.10, so 1.1 ought to go to 1.1.11  
if we follow the pattern. Not that I'm obsessed with patterns or  
anything, of course!
Still, I suppose we could say that stopping after 10 patch-versions  
was a pattern too...)
