[STR New] Link: http://www.fltk.org/str.php?L2866 Version: 1.3-feature All, I'm going to suggest we close this STR and ask that the OP bring the questions to the fltk.general list for a more appropriate discussion. Does that sound OK? Before I go, to the OP: Can you provide more detail of what you are doing? The timings you report are so far out of synch with my experience that I wonder what it is you are measuring - can you explain, please? Post more details over in the fltk.general list where we can all take a look at what is going on... Also, that configure line looks bogus for an ubuntu system; the --disable-cygwin only has meaning on a Windows system, and if you --disable-x11 what windowing system are you using? Also, linking shared is probably not helpful as that will not make for the smallest or fastest loading binaries, if that is what is important to you. In general, fltk is better suited to static linking, and that is the preferred usage pattern. What version of fltk are you testing with?
