Yes, fair point.

As a general rule, a lot of things that were fl_something... in fltk-1.x became 
fltk::something... in fltk-2 (though not always!)

My concern would be that the OP really needs fltk-1.x, from the context of the 
question, so that would be the safer option in this case.
