Thanks for all the helpful suggestions. What I'm trying to do is to put together a collection of domain-specific Widgets for use by other developers. So far as possible, I'd like it if someone could use FLUID to simply lay these Widgets out in a window and end up with a consistent "look and feel" without having to worry about setting all the bits and pieces.
Thus, solutions involving extra code in fluid, or setting things later on, are sort of anti-thematic for me. I've been able to achieve most of what I want to do, but some details remain awkward.
