Please state which version of FLTK you are using.

There is nothing you need to do to install FLTK. Just compile the
"demo" project and run it. All other application will work.

If you are planning to do your own development, you should probably
take the VisualC project files as an example on how to set up
projects. I sometimes - out of lazyness - simply rewrite one of the
test programs, so I don't have to set up a project at all.

If you set up you project in a different directory tree, you must
either:
- set the include path to C:\where\I\installed\fltk-1.1.x\FL
(assuming FLTK1)
- set the library path to C:\where\I\installed\fltk-1.1.x\lib
(assuming FLTK1)

or:
- copy everything in C:\where\I\installed\fltk-1.1.x\FL into C:
\program_files\Microsoft_Visual_Studio\VC\include\FL
- copy everything in C:\where\I\installed\fltk-1.1.x\lib into C:
\program_files\Microsoft_Visual_Studio\VC\lib
- if you use the fltk image library, you must also copy the jpeg,
png, and zip headers)
(now you don't need to set include paths anymore, but you must re-
copy all files whenever you update FLTK)

The actual pathnames depend on your installation and download
locations of course... . Please update accordingly

Matthias

PS: one posting is usually enough ;-)
