I have created a patch to update the games .desktop files as well as updated the fluid.desktop patch I previously submitted. I filed a new str for the games patch Here are the links to each patch: fluid.desktop: http://www.fltk.org/str.php?L1896 games .desktop: http://www.fltk.org/str.php?L1898 I only use KDE and AFAICT these patches cause fluid and games to show up in good places.
