Wow - thanks for that. I learned two things.
1] You can have a bracket in a URL ;-P
2] FLTK is very capable.

Well maybe 3 things -
3] FLTK won an academy award! sort of ...

Ok I always really knew about number two. :)
To answer an earlier question - no I am not a member of the press - I am a 
development manager evaluating different technology for a product.

In some GUI comparison pages I remember reading about the fact that FLTK had 
some screen "flicker" problems on larger apps. I am not entirely new to FLTK a 
few years back I looked at making my own IDE
( http://www.geocities.com/visualfltk/ ) but I never had time to pursue and now 
that I am in management and making software decisions I am coming back to FLTK 
to see if it can fulfil our needs.
