Hi Greg! Sorry for answering so late, when you answered, I already was asleep 
:).
Well, I use FLTK 1.1.9 and both Linux and Win XP.The Linux is Fedora 10.
As far as the typo srand(time(0)), the missing semicolon is a typo only when I 
sent the message, because I had some comments and I deleted them I guess I 
accidentally deleted the semicolon two :).But don't think that I would waste 
you people's time just for such a typo.The original version didn't have this 
typo.But it had a lot of comments, and I removed some of them.
I did try, honestly, and the program didn't stop.Unfortunately, last night when 
I was reading all of you people's responses it was really late, I never had the 
time to actually use them :).Right know I'll do  that.
