Good day, all!

Yeah, after being frustrated by those new features adding to fltk1 but cannot
be used on fltk2, and being frightened by the new "declarations" on fltk2 as
"never attained stability and is now generally dormant", i am glad to find
fltk3.

So fltk3 wrapped both fltk1 and fltk2, which could mean the following?

1. I can easily transform my current fltk2 to fltk3 (just recompile!)

2. I can now use new features/widgets for fltk1 in my new program of fltk3

3. More exciting features developed in fltk1 or fltk2 later can be directly
used in fltk3.

Thanks a lot for your experts' answers. And please don't limit to these
questions if you can give some more future prediction on choosing the version.

Thanks!

a fltk user and lover
