Everyone,

The Fluent NHibernate Support Desk (located at
http://support.fluentnhibernate.org) has been deprecated, please refrain
from opening any more discussions there. There's a new support page on the
site (http://fluentnhibernate.org/support) that lists the alternative
options. In short:

   - Ask a question on StackOverflow
   - Ask a question here (the mailing list)
   - Pay for commercial support

The latter is purely a last stop for anyone who's willing to part with their
hard-earned cash. I'd rather everyone went to StackOverflow rather than pay
me, but I won't complain if a couple really want to! Don't think I'm trying
to drum up business by reducing support, because it's anything but that;
StackOverflow has exploded over the past few months, and the responses that
we're getting to Fluent NHibernate questions on there are of a very high
standard. It's better for all of us if people ask questions over there,
because you're exposed to a much larger group of developers than just Paul
and I (and the few contributors who offer their time with support, thank
you!).

The Support Desk was an experiment that didn't really work. I had hoped we'd
get a better overall experience for helping people, but it was never really
embraced by the community (and the software wasn't quite up-to-scratch
either). My main gripe was that people were asking questions, not getting an
answer in an hour or so, and then proceeding to cross-post to here and
StackOverflow, which kind of defeats the purpose really.

If you have questions outstanding on the desk then you're welcome to keep
posting there and we'll keep trying to help; however, you should direct new
questions to StackOverflow or just ask them here.

Thanks,
James
