Hi, If you want to use automapping and you don't want to define custom universal conventions, try IAutoMappingOverride. It's still automapping except for those properties which should not be treated automatic and now you can specify their "ColumnName" manually: http://wiki.fluentnhibernate.org/Auto_mapping#Overrides
