If so, then I guess that 1.57 Gigabytes is too big for FluidSynth. Currently, FluidSynth tries to load all the samples from a Soundfont file into memory, as a single block (a single memory allocation). If this memory allocation fails, an error with the message "Out of memory" is logged and a failure is returned to the caller.
