I've now rolled tarballs for 1.1.6-rc1, which I hope will be the best
release ever :-)
The release candidate tarballs can be downloaded from here:

I've set up the changelog and a testing result template here:

Once you have fulfilled a test case - if the test succeeds, either
report back on this list, or just update the wiki page yourself. If the
test fails, and especially if it is a regression compared to earlier
versions of FluidSynth, please report it on the mailing list with as
much relevant information you can, to help us identify and fix the problem.
If the tests can be completed within a week or so, that would be nice,
but let us know if you need longer time.
Also, since this is our launch of the testing program - please have a
look at the Changelog page if you are a tester, to verify that name and
test descriptions are accurate.
