Hi, I believe I asked a year ago and got no negative responses, so I went ahead and converted our repository from SVN to Git today. The main reason is git's larger feature set, as well as its larger userbase. In short, it's what most people use nowadays, at least in the open source community.
It also helps with contributions as people can now send patches to the mailinglist using "git send-email" and they will be properly listed as the author of the patch in the VCS. Give it a try at https://sourceforge.net/p/fluidsynth/code-git/ - especially if you have commits already, you might want to check that I spelled your name and email correctly. If I hear nothing from you within a few days or so I'll go ahead and officially call this our new repository and deprecate the old one. // David _______________________________________________ fluid-dev mailing list fluid-dev@nongnu.org https://lists.nongnu.org/mailman/listinfo/fluid-dev
