Hi Ben, I don't think there is such a modulator or mechanism in the Soundfont spec. I've solved a similar problem in the past by adding this information in the comment field of the Soundfont file. For example something like this: (Format: <bank>:<prog>:<transpose>) 0:0:-12 0:5:12 1:72:-24
Then upon loading of the soundfont, I have a small script that parses the comment for any of those special lines. Whenever a new program is selected, check if there is an entry and apply the transposition. No need to do this inside the Soundfont comment, of course.
