Yes, that also makes sense. Ideally it would be really nice to have these in context, but writing selectors to avoid stray template elements does seem awkward. It sounds like a problem worth putting a bit more thinking into down the road, but in the meantime, I'm fine with a single gathering place for template-related DOM elements.
