Hi folks, We received a lot of great thoughts and ideas about our most recent Open Source Design Pattern Library discussion questions--thanks so much for your help with these! Jess (the new Fluid Project Manager) & I tried to summarize the responses for questions 3, 5, 6, & 9 on this page: http://wiki.fluidproject.org/display/fluid/High-level+OSDPL+Discussion+Questions .
Some of these summaries include additional questions for the group to try to resolve together when the full OSDPL working group meets Wednesday 6/18 at 11am PDT/2pm EDT (http://uidesignpatterns.org/content/meeting-6-18-08 ). In order to prepare for this meeting, please *read the initial answers* to the discussion questions (they are above the "Discussion" sections) and add any comments you have to the wiki *prior to the meeting* by putting them in brackets, with your initials, and a particular color for your comments (see mine in orange). This will make it clearer what the discussion points for the meeting should be, and hopefully help us (more) quickly determine the final answers. These answers to these questions will help guide us the project together with a shared vision, so we thank you for all the effort everyone has made and continues to make--it's time well spent to get us all on the same page. Information on joining this Wednesday's meeting can be found at: http://uidesignpatterns.org/content/meeting-6-18-08 . *Anyone* interested in user interface (or other) design patterns is more than welcome to attend, so don't be shy--join us! A draft agenda (which is still in progress) can be found here: http://wiki.fluidproject.org/display/fluid/Open+Source+Design+Pattern+Library+group+meeting+-+06-18-08 . Hope to see/hear you on Wednesday!
