Just popping this over from the JQuery UI thread - Resig and others are discussing the role of JQuery as situated within wider frameworks.

Note that things that sound like "Javascript MVC" occupy something like the functional space of some of our framework, although that is not the idiom we use - Fluid Renderer/Data Binder is inheriting the "controllerless/data is King" approach to application design that was initiated in RSF. Still it is interesting to see how these discussions take place, and the sorts of considerations that are important to JQuery users and framework developers.
