Today I had a chat with Everett to discuss the accessibility of Decapod. Since the Decapod workflow deals with visual content, my primary concern was determining how accessible Decapod can be for low-vision users.
In our discussion we covered a range of topics including: * How to discern the quality of an image for someone using a screen reader * Accessibility incorporated into an Ubuntu Live CD * Accessibility of collapsing panes on the UI * Extensible - to add other hardware support (like scanners) in the future My notes have been posted here: http://wiki.fluidproject.org/x/qQGO Everett remarked how Decapod can potentially be the "final piece of the puzzle" for screen reader users on Linux. Capturing images and have it converted to text is not something easily done in Linux, so Decapod has the potential of being a solution for this. My impression is that Decapod can be a big asset to users of screen readers.
