Our goal is to have an early version of the new demo portal ready in
the next week or two. This probably won't include fully revamped demos
for each component, but it will at least house our existing demos
nicely. Logistically, Jacob and I still have a few details to flesh
out, but the idea is to take an iterative approach to implementing it:
1. Create the overall portal
2. Move existing demos into it
3. Make improvements to some of the easier demos in terms of styling,
code, and context
4. Tackle the harder stuff
It's likely we can address #1 and #2 over the next few weeks, while
new/refreshed demos will take a bit longer, and likely won't be ready
in time for Infusion 1.2. The obvious exception here is the Image
Reorderer, which Jacob and I have already improved for 1.2.
2) Is this intended to be a page on the website (fluidproject.org)
that links to docs and code and tutorials on the wiki, or a page on
the wiki (or both)?
Website, along with links to docs and tutorials on the wiki. Code,
we'll try to keep directly tied to the release package so that there's
no risk that sample code goes out of sync with the release. Seem
reasonable?
