Greetings, Fluid folks. At Indiana University we have a new project we are working on with Northwestern University and some other institutions, called Variations on Video (http://www.variationsonvideo.org). The project focuses on the management and delivery of library and archival video holdings for pedagogical & research purposes. One of the early decisions we need to make is which player to base our work on. We would like to learn more about the Fluid video player, its relation to the Opencast Matterhorn Engage player (if any), and whether your video player might serve as a basis for what we need to build. I'm thinking of arranging a call between our project, Opencast Matterhorn (who are partners on our project), and people from Fluid, if anyone is interested.
Thoughts? Thanks, Mark -- Mark Notess Manager, Teaching & Learning Systems Development Library Technologies and Digital Libraries IU Bloomington Libraries / University Information Technology Services Indiana University Bloomington, Indiana 47405 812.856.0494 (w) mn<applewebdata://5707FB51-301B-4060-9C68-E3B0B5E8B08A/[email protected]>[email protected]
