At this week’s Community Meeting
<https://wiki.fluidproject.org/display/fluid/Community+workshops+and+design+crits>
 ( Oct 12, 2022 ) Daniel Giovannini (Associate Director, MScAC Partnerships at
U of T), will be joining to learn more about the recent work at the IDRC, and
explore whether there may be opportunities for MScAC graduate students to work
on collaborative research projects involving the IDRC and/or any of our
partners.

Description:

MScAC (Master of Science in Applied Computing)
<https://mscac.utoronto.ca/overview-of-the-mscac-program> is a world-class
professional graduate program that provides a broad range of industry and
community partners with direct access to applied research talent: in addition
to the same graduate-level technical courses as our MSc program, MScAC also
involves each MScAC graduate student in an 8-month applied research internship
in the last part of the program.

I would be interested to learn more about the recent work in your research
group, and to explore whether there may be opportunities for some of our
students to complement your team at the IDRC in collaborative research work you
may be conducting in partnership with industry and community partners.
