in fluids preferences i found the whitelist section, which has an
entry: "*gmail.com*" - i modified it to "https://gmail.com"; and added
another line of "http://gmail.com"; - now it does not try to open
facebook urls within fluid.

i hope google does not use subdomains in gmail.com domain.
