Hi Jaren, In my case, when I installed the Fluid Extension for 1Password and relaunched my Fluid Apps, I got a prompt asking me about enabling 1Password for that app. I think it also happens when an individual app is upgrade, i.e., I get prompted again about enabling 1Password. After doing so, it works fine.
My experience was the same as your with regards to the key in the menu bar.
