Replace the non-transactional memory channel with new transactional memory
channel

The last patch for FLUME-772 has created a new channel that fully supports
transactional semantics. This new channel needs to support both transactional
and non-transactional behaviours. The old non-transactional memory channel
should be depreciated.
Also the patch for FLUME-784 needs to be ported to the new channel.
