Some operational metrics are event rate on a per source, sink & channel basis.
Time an event spends in a channel (min wise average/mean statistics) etc.,
There are tons of metrics that flume-og used to collect, only issue is it is a
point in time snapshot and we need to build tools with (complex) logic to build
operational statistics of the system.
